Inspired by the life and works of Italian writer and director Pier Paolo Pasolini, the artist group LUDICA. stages a poetic, picturesque scenery of light and shadows, text fragments, sound compositions, film quotations, abstract projections and choreographed elements. They take a critical look at the past and the current political situation in Italy, having censored people's life in the past and still censoring all contemporary arts and culture. Morgan Nardi and Naoko Tanaka bring about a game of discontinuity. Artful and associative pictures approaching the thought cosmos of Pasolini emerge. The title is chosen in reference to a chapter in Pasolini's unfinished novel "Petrolio" entitled "Anmerkungen 134".

Ludica. was founded in 2001 by media artist Naoko Tanaka and choreographer Morgan Nardi. Together, they develop projects in which choreography and visual arts form a close bond. After working in various countries, Morgan Nardi became an ensemble member of NEUER TANZ in Düsseldorf in 1998.
Naoko Tanaka studied painting and sculpting at the National University for the Arts and Music in Tokyo and held a scholarship at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf.
Her works were shown in solo exhibitions in Tokyo and other cities and as part of group exhibitions at the Düsseldorf Kunstraum and at the Museum Ludwig in Cologne during the Art Film Biannual.
