![]() Who is spying on whom? The “Lauschaffaire Winkler (Winkler eavesdropping scandal)“ will not be disclosed – quite to the contrary: During the performance, the coordinates of space, acoustics and identities slowly shift, making exposure impossible. Apparently, dancer Erika Winkler seems to be the target person of the whole eavesdropping operation. She moves within an acoustical-theatrical space oscillating between intimacy and publicity. Every audience member is zooming in on the leading actress, not only visually, but also acoustically. The three artists Fuchs, Ritzenhoff and Winkler make you feel these violations of personal rights through an invasion of privacy, full of suspense and with oppressive consistency. Barbara Fuchs founded her label tanzfuchs PRODUKTION in 2003, under which she has created 11 plays for children as well as adults up to now. Together with contemporary composer Jörg Ritzenhoff, she ventures to the point where acoustics, dance and aspects of the visual arts connect. They create cleverly composed, always humourous irritations in contrast to conventional perception, in search of a new artistic perspective regarding body, sound and space. |
