Inspired by Dub, a musical genre in which remixing and recomposing shape alternate versions of existing titles, "Dub Version" reworks and rearranges the dancer's repertoire of movements. This makes for a choreography with plenty of wit, surprise and humour.

Vera Sander studied at the London Contemporary Dance School and at the Theaterschool Amsterdam. Before going on to develop her first few choreographies at the Cologne Tanzforum, she danced with the Dansgroep Krisztina de Chatel, Itzik Galili and as a soloist at the Sächsische Staatsoper Dresden. She founded her own dance ensemble VeraSanderArtConnects and has been working as a freelance choreographer, dancer and university lecturer for contemporary dance since 1996. In 2006, she took over the chair for contemporary dance at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Cologne.
