SLOWDOWN

In this work, at the intersection of dance film, video art and research, the audience experiences movements in slowness and the uncertainty of perhaps never arriving. In “SLOWDOWN”, senzenberger|rieck create a landscape of organic and inorganic material, following the idea that matter is always in motion and enters power relationships that are always being renegotiated. With its precise aesthetics and a dense soundscape, their video work enables deceleration and invites the viewer to move towards it step by step.
