EpicDermis

“EpicDermis” explores the pleasurable discovery of our environment and the vital need of being touched – in contrast to an increasingly contactless society, resulting in isolation. Using an expressive and intimate language of movement, the piece for five dancers focuses on the skin as the boundary between the individual and the environment. The work examines the significance of the skin as our largest organ and the sense of touch, which is most developed at birth.
