Bilderschlachten - Die minimale Version
Together with eight performers, the Asasello Quartet and the orchestra Les Siècles, choreographer Stephanie Thiersch and composer Brigitta Muntendorf created a choreographic vision about “the end of the world“ in 2019. Rampaging unbridled through cultural history. this “ballet noir” holds up a mirror to the excesses of our civilisation. As part of tanz nrw 23, the company will present two versions of “Bilderschlachten”: At PACT Zollverein, the orchestra will be present in holographic form. It is an attempt to stage the power of the orchestra, the community of the present-absent musicians and the idea of interplay in a different way. At TanzFaktur, MOUVOIR presents a condensed version of the original piece, with the question of reasonableness at the centre.
