This first installment of a series and most recent work by this choreographer with Cypriot roots deals with identity. She and her six dancers are interested in the relations between the individual and the collective, between isolation and communication. She stages a feeling of alienation as well as situations lingering in between friendship and enmity in images of atmospheric density.

Alexandra Waierstall studied dance at the European Dance Development Center (EDDC) in Arnheim and Düsseldorf and ended her post graduate studies for choreography at Dance Unlimited in Arnheim in 2006. In 2005, the already internationally distinguished Düsseldorf choreographer founded the dance company Noema Dance Works.
