VA Wölfl studierte Malerei bei Oskar Kokoschka und Fotografie an der Folkwangschule für Gestaltung bei Otto Steinert. Als Bildender Künstler stellt VA Wölfl Malerei, Fotos, Video-Installationen und Skulpturen in Galerien und Museen aus. Er arbeitet mit dem 1986 gegründeten Ensemble NEUER TANZ. NEUER TANZ arbeitet in Düsseldorf.
