The performers reference observations from early 2020, when the coronavirus began to spread throughout the EU – but an inadequate number of reports addressed the situation at the European borders, where refugees live under catastrophic conditions. “Umzug in eine vergleichbare Lage” features a live-voiced, acoustically enhanced yet distorted text montage superimposed on top of dance-like movements.
