Felix Bürkle is breathing new life into his world-toured work “beckett, beer and cigarettes”. By tweaking the sensory screws of human perception, the choreographer takes his contemplations on the relationship between human and object to the next level: Why do things exist? Why is there anything at all rather than nothing? On stage: 983 bottles, 157 crates, 4 chairs and 1 table as well as 3 young performers and the musician and composer Moritz Anthes. People, objects, dance, live music and cirque nouveau all interwoven into a fantastical illusion. The result is a balancing act in the truest sense of the word that changes the way we look at things – and people.
