In “The White Void_Series“ the Ben J. Riepe Company continue their exploration of the intersections between dance, performance, music and art: part choreography, part installation, part laboratory, an empty white room is the scene of a discourse on nature and an encounter between performers and audience. Honing in on uncompromising states of exposure, not to shock but rather to draw attention to details, the dancers follow a dramaturgy oscillating between vulnerability and repressed aggression that categorically resists classification.
